before and after: cashmere leggings
I always intend to make more of my own wardrobe, and am pretty pleased with how many dresses I made and wore last year! Why stop at the warm months?
My mom sent me some of her old sweaters, I believe these were cashmere sweaters from Costco, too boxy. I don't usually break out the legging-layering until February in Chicago, but we've hit so many below freezing days already this Winter, it's necessary.
I used the bodies of these two sweaters and still have the sleeves left!

before and after: mens sweater to halter skirt set
I always try to make and wear more of my own wardrobe, and I think I've done pretty well this year!
Living in Chicago we really relish our Summers :)
I found this mens sweater and made it into a halter top and skirt.

Silkscreening joy
I can't tell you how happy I am to be printing so much again this past year. Designing and sewing my dresses goes to another level when I am able to also enhance the graphic quality of my thrifted, found knits.
