Birthdays should be HAPPY!

I've been contemplating this for quite a while now and have made my decision!
I hope to be able to have 100% of the proceeds of every birthday dress, donated to charity!
Your gift could mean many more gifts for others!

Here's the first batch:

somewhere on a beach....

Both ladies are wearing dresses that I've made using not only thrifted knits, but also vintage rick rack and vintage linens.

halter for myself

I took the day off last Friday because I WANTED TO RIDE ROLLERCOASTERS!
I made this halter top from button down shirts, and ties were existing ones from womens clothing.

I love Summer!!!

inspired by illustration : scallop hem stripe dress

I saw this drawing that Jennifer of sophie & lili's daughter drew
and was inspired to make it an actual dress.
It's the first scallop hem I have made!
And you know I can't resist stripes.

To top that off, it's modeled by one of our favorite little ladies :)
THANK YOU!!!
I love trying new things and thank you for sharing your talents with me!
Now the dress is on its way to the artist....

new silkscreen : hyperbola

Silkscreening with my boyfriend (he does all the pulling HA) makes me SO HAPPY.
And then having all the new prints to sew up makes me even MORE HAPPY!

As usual, all my silkscreens are printed in limited editions.
This time, there is a whole lot of hot pink.  Orange and red are also prevalent.

Look for an email featuring this new HYPERBOLA print on Tuesday!
