{courtneycourtney} boldly bright

courtneycourtney's paperlili projects

There are so many things I love about my creations. One HUGE part is seeing how others translate my dresses into their own wardrobes!

I also get to meet some awesome, creative people like the woman behind paperlili.
Sparkle is her medium, which you may not think is for everyone, but the way Cristy deliberately places each crystal, is clearly brilliant.

Here are just a few of the dresses she has picked up over the years,
the first was this 6 dress in September 2009!
I've also come up with some special dresses that incorporate a little
bit of Paperlili and her childrens' own tshirts.

Cristy just gets what I am all about, inspires and trusts me. And..... that makes me want to create more! Thank you Cristy!!!

bamboletta clothing by courtneycourtney : FAQs

When is the next courtneycourtney Bamboletta clothing upload?
I don't know. I get this question a lot! I like to have them when I have a good little collection done, and when I know I will be at the computer (this is always iffy, see below).
I've always been one to create when the mood strikes! Sometimes it's doll clothing, a lot of times it's girls dresses.

Do I make matching childrens + doll outfits? No, and not intentionally. As I am working with repurposing fabrics it IS very likely that doll clothing will have the same fabric as a dress.
Like this:

No reserves, but stay tuned as the same fabric is probably in my working piles.
(Yea... somewhere in there!)

I always miss the uploads!

courtneycourtney customers are all around the world!!! So I do try to vary my release times, combined with my odd sleeping hours... I also work full time during the day at another job, please read more about this here : http://courtneychu.blogspot.com/2010/08/evolution-of-courtneycourtney.html

I do have a nice little collection ready to go, let's aim for .... tomorrow, Monday morning (1/3) at 8:30am central? http://www.etsy.com/shop/courtneycourtney

For those of you new to courtneycourtney, WELCOME! I really only release my doll clothing in drops, not my girls dresses. Please 'like' my facebook page and follow cc on twitter to get the notifications for those!

buying vintage = buying eco-friendly!

Yes, buying vintage is one way to recycle! And I think it's definitely stylish :) So many choices!

Here one of our favorite models is wearing a jacket found at 3ringcircus <- another favorite! The courtneycourtney dress was actually a surprise 'trust me' listing, revealed only after it was bought! It makes me so happy to see outfits like this come together, that pre-loved clothing has new life and is ready for many more adventures! Which make for great stories and memories.

This is back in the Fall... so many options!! So fun!
