lot116 : yellow block silkscreen and stars

I thought I had blogged these photos, but I guess not!
I added stars on top of this yellow block, for a two-color process silkscreen result!
Only 16 dresses were made of this yellow/blue print...

A few photos from my recent trip to California.
Friends, wine, beer, hills, sun, sculptures, sophie&lili sighting, shopping, boneyard, exploring, and as always, seeking inspiration.
I'm going to FIVE weddings this year...and this was not one of them.
So my sales might be a bit random but nevertheless exciting :)
Grab dresses as you can!

Back in my studio for now!

PUBLISHED!

So last year I found this vintage sheet of adorable animals!!!
I saved the bunny rabbits.

My boyfriend wrote a story about a bunny rabbit named Penny, and you can follow her journey....while browsing all the dresses I made with this fabric.

The email will go out later this week, and you can see all the dresses NOW if you download the ebook!

I originally wanted to have the physical books ready to ship with the dresses, but for me to receive them (earliest April 4th) then to re-direct them to you is a little too close! You can also order directly to your home :)
Enjoy!!!

vintage linens

Ever since I visited this store, I've been collecting vintage linens.
I've been holding onto them..... trying to figure out how to incorporate them into my dresses, and I think I'm almost there! Love how these give extra volume to the bottom of my flutter sleeve dresses.

lately

Lately I've been trying a couple new things - well - I always am!

Asymmetry, swooping, slicing, piecing, ...
Everyone loves a before-and-after!
And stay tuned for a music-themed email Friday (2/17)!

boy-repeller? I love going CRAZY with....

whatever you call it, a theme? pattern?

I grabbed every plaid knit I could find in my piles [for upcycling].

You would think I would have found more plaid polos than this, but I seem to find more solids and stripes.

I caught this PLAID post by The Man Repeller, and thought it would be exciting to see how much plaid I could fit in one dress.

You see, it's a challenge and I love it.
I go nuts with FLORALS:

STRIPES:

EVERYTHING!
